I’m looking forcustom iron on patches ireland and I’m finding it harder than expected. I help run a small community group, and we’d like patches with our logo for jackets and bags. I’d also like a few personalised ones for gifts. I’d rather not sew them on, so iron-on seems the easiest option.



Most of what I’ve found online is either generic stock designs or overseas sellers with long shipping times and customs fees. I’d much prefer someone based in Ireland or the UK who can make patches from our own artwork and deliver quickly.



If anyone has been through this, I’d love your advice on a few things:



How well do iron-on patches hold up in the wash, and do they need extra stitching to last?

Do they work on all fabrics, or only on things like cotton and denim?

What’s the best way to apply one at home without damaging the clothes?

How much should I expect to pay for a small batch of 20 to 30?

Are there minimum order quantities, and does the price drop much on bigger orders?

Is a simple design with fewer colours better for small patches?



I’d also appreciate any supplier recommendations, plus warnings about things to avoid. Photos of your own finished patches would be great, as they’d help me work out what’s realistic for the price.
