### What is a Tortilla Blanket?

A tortilla blanket is a soft, circular blanket designed to resemble a giant flour tortilla. Typically made from plush, high-quality materials like polyester or cotton fleece, these blankets are not only visually appealing but also incredibly comfortable. The unique design allows users to wrap themselves up like a delicious burrito, making it a perfect accessory for snuggling on the couch or lounging in bed.

### The Origin of Tortilla Blankets

The tortilla blanket trend took off in the early 2010s, thanks in part to social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, where users showcased their playful lifestyles. The merging of food-themed products with cozy home textiles resonated with a wide audience, leading to the blanket’s status as a beloved novelty item. From kitchen-themed gifts to whimsical home accessories, the tortilla blanket embodies a fun spirit that appeals to all ages.
