If you find how to remove applications from Mac, then do a Force Quit from the Apple menu or use Activity Monitor to completely close the app. After the app has been terminated, attempt to delete it once more from the Applications folder. There are a few macOS system apps that are so protected that they cannot be removed. It is also possible that simply restarting the Mac would help you if an app is locked or frozen.
